Good evening Ma'am. This is for yesterday's area games day. Yesterday's area games day has given me a different experience in NPCC as it was my first time participating in area 7 games day. I am playing Dodgeball with James sir as IC, Brandon sir, Xin yi, Alicia and Kelly from the sec 2 squad and Marvin, Rui xiang, Mian hao and Eyla from which are my squad mates. During the games, we competed with schools from area 7. We work together and stratagize on how we are going to play the game as a team. Due to the reason that the team can only have 7 players per game, we take turn to play the game. Even though there might be conflicts here and there during the game, we knew that our number one priority is to win a trophy in the game and we cannot be divided due to some arguments. So we quickly forgotten the conflicts between us and we paid all attention to the game. In the end, we came in 4th place. Most of us agreed that the other schools are stronger and we need to work harder next time. At the end of the area games day, i found out that not only us was facing the problem alone, the other teams from our school are also facing some minor conflicts but also forgotten them quickly. Rebekah ma'am once told me and my squad mates that we should not argue or shout at each other as we will be in the squad together for 2 to 3 years and we need to learn how to work together and talk to each other nicely unlike shouting or arguing with each other. In the end, we did not won any trophies but i believe that not only me but my other squad mates strives to win a trophy in the next area 7 games day. Yesterday's area 7 games day experience was truly a very memorable one and i will not forget it in a flash. Christine, 13th batch

Today the Sec 2 squad (excluding the NDO members) as well as the Sec 1 squad and Sec 3 squad will be attending the area 7 games day which was held at Sengkang secondary school from 8-12:30 a.m which is quite early to most of us but we could not contain our excitement for the event that the time of the event did not matter. In this event there were 11 schools competing for trophies in 8 games which can be very stressful to everyone. For the game I am playing which will be handball it was very stressful as we only had one game to play to make it to the semi-finals to have a chance to win a trophy. Our first match was against Sengkang secondary which intimidated us as they were known to be very rough players but despite that,we still played to the best of our ability knowing that we did our best. During our game,we experienced a lot of difficulties as the players were tall, fast and strong which made it difficult to even catch the ball to begin with we kept passing but they kept intercepting the ball every time allowing them to score 3 goal and us 0 goals this disappointed us a lot but the CLs and TOs cheered us up saying that we did our best and that is what matters. Looking back at this we could have gotten a better strategy to beat the opponent but we had no time to plan as it was one game for 120 minutes but we did our best so it was still a well done job To conclude the area 7 games day was stressful, fun and very upbeat compared to most activities we normally have at CCA and to suggest a game to play In house games is handball as it requires teamwork and focus Lance, 12th batch
