This Friday was different than most other training sessions. The only person taking our squad was Rebekah Ma'am. With her we learned our marching drills. While learning, I learned that a squad won't be a squad without the cadets. Even though some of us already knew the drills, having been in parade, we learned as a squad. I learned the values of teamwork and discipline. We needed to have teamwork to always remind ourselves that we are a squad and it is one for all, all for one. Teamwork is what is required to be one of the best squad. We had to be disciplined enough to not deviate from learning drills in our own small groups. Discipline. One of the many values a cadet is to have. During our first training, we were not so disciplined. We exceeded time limit. I have learned through Rebekah Ma'am that to be a chairperson of NP, you must give your 200% in everything.

The sec 2 squad had been to Yishun Fire Station division 3. It was a really good lesson as it teaches us how to cover wounds and learn how to escape when there is a terrorist attack. I have learnt how to use the SGSecure app and keep my country safe. Even though we were a few minutes late, we managed to catch up with the slideshow and get to understand what is going on. After the talk, we all were tested on a test paper and we are to get 12/15 to pass the paper. The paper was easy so most of us are confident to get the badge.
