Joining PDS was definitely an eye-opener for me. Before joining PDS, the picture i had about PDS in my mind was mostly spinning the rifle. However, i came to realise that much control over the rifle is needed to execute the drills sharply and is not all about spinning the rifle. I have no regrets joining PDS as it definitely was a new experience for me and throughout the many long hours of training, i learned a lot about PDS drills and made new friends along way. Joining PDS also helped to sharpen my discipline and focus as training was also conducted seriously and each step of the performance must be executed with precision. There is a sense of satisfaction which love after the performance as all the hours of practice has paid off after the performance and is a very enjoyable experience.

Being able to take part in the PDS Performance has been a fruitful experience for me. Through the many trainings, we learnt various types of basic and fancy PDS drills. After learning a different drill or a new part of the performance routine each training, I would continue practicing at home to get myself used to the routine to ensure that I would not forget anything that I was taught previously and improve on my sharpness on the drills. These trainings have also given me the chance to be able to bond and make new friends from the NCC who guided us and clarified our doubts regarding drills or the performance. Despite some of us making mistakes during the actual performance, we tried to not dwell on it and just thought about enjoying the experience. All in all, I have no regrets for joining this PDS performance and I am very grateful to the NCC Instructors for guiding and teaching us these new drills and I hope to have another opportunity to perform together with them in the near future.
