On the 13th to 15th of April 2018, Greendale NPCC held their annual Unit Camp for 3D2N in school. Our Secondary 4 Cadet Leaders of 2017 organised the Annual Unit Camp to orientate the Secondary 1 cadets to our Greendale NPCC unit. The Secondary 2 cadets also participated in the camp as part of bonding with the juniors as well as giving them the opportunity to lead the Secondary 1s as their seniors.

Our campers drenched from top to bottom after their mass activity, "Water Bombing". What a cool way to fight against the scorching sun!

Day 2 Morning: Campers are all smiles while having their Physical Training early in the morning! They must have been looking forward to the activities planned for the day. Especially breakfast.

Day 2 Evening: AUC Campers having their dinner for the day. Outdoor Cooking is definitely one activity our campers will not miss out every camp!

Day 3 Morning:

Our Secondary 2 campers leading a water parade to get the rest hydrated and pumped for the day!

Our AUC Coordinators conducting debrief for the campers before they head back to the bunk for their long-awaited sleep.

During every closing ceremony of our annual unit camps, campers who have displayed outstanding qualities during the 3D2N AUC will be awarded the Best Male and Female camper, two from each squad. Here are the following awardees:

Annual Unit Camp 2018 Secondary 1 Best Male Camper

Russell from the Secondary 1 squad has displayed enthusiastic participation and helpful personality towards his groupmates. He never fails to give in his 100% for all activities and encouraged his team whenever they faced a difficulty. We hope to see him doing the same, or even better, during the next Annual Unit Camp as a Secondary 2 cadet. Well done, Russell!

Melinda from the Secondary 1 squad took great initiatives from the very start of the camp. She never shy away from new challenges and pushes herself out of her comfort zone. Her bravery and never-say-die attitude won her the Annual Unit Camp 2018 Secondary 1 Best Female Camper. Awesome job, Melinda!

Randall from the Secondary 2 squad never fails to amaze us with his leadership qualities not only during this year's AUC but also during weekly trainings. Randall was commended for his active participation and his ability to lead his team mates. He is thus awarded the Annual Unit Camp 2018 Secondary 2 Best Male Camper. We hope to see him challenge himself during his Cadet Leader Training Camp to become a even better leader.

Shreya from the Secondary 2 squad is a reserved young lady as seen from weekly trainings. However, in this very camp, she have shown her utmost potential as a Secondary 2 senior as she slowly developed the courage to speak and bond with the Secondary 1s. We hope this is a stepping stone for her to become more confident in herself and to speak to a squad as she progress to become a Cadet Leader. For her wonderful performance, she is awarded is the Annual Unit Camp 2018 Secondary 2 Best Female Camper!

To end off the post, we would want to congratulate the Secondary 4 Cadet Leaders for their successful camp and the objectives you have set and achieved. It is without a doubt that their bonds were forged even stronger during the planning phase of AUC. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to make this camp possible and an enjoyable one for your juniors.

We declare Annual Unit Camp 2018 closed.
