First training of the year (5th January 2018)

[16:24, 1/19/2018] Choon Xiang: For today's training , we did many things including the setting up of the booths for CCA Fair on Saturday. When we were setting up the booth , we worked and help each other. Just by setting up the booth made us realize that teamwork is really important. After we finished , we were told to go to the canteen, and told to blindfold ourselves and feed each other a slice of pizza bought by our Teacher Officer. I feel that it made us bond more and trust each other more.

This Training was really good as me and my squad mates because we got to know the desired values, like Teamwork, Initiative and Resilience. I believe that these values should stick with my entire squad as it will definitely help them in their daily school life. Right now i’ve been trying to get out of my own personal bubble as i always keep quiet and just let my squad mates do the work by themselves and i stand at the side doing my own stuff But recently i have shown more signs that i am gonna be more participative in the cca, like volunteering more, asking questions, and giving feedback to the CIs.
