For the preparation of our CCA Fair, we set up the booth with all the rifles, batons and displaying boards as we have to explain these elements that define NPCC to the Sec 1s who are interested to join. I learnt how to communicate more with the parents and Sec 1s and to also step out of my comfort zone to sell them more about our CCA. During our drills showcase, I was really scared however it ended up well. Although some people did not look at our drills showcase but I still felt that effort was paid off as I'm sure we have gave in our best. I was very nervous when we were being watched but still I concentrated on doing my drills well and overcame the fear. In the midst of our CCA Fair's planning, we actually bonded a lot among ourselves because we learnt how to listen to others' opinion and be an active contributor to events that we host so we maximise our manpower.

The CCA Fair was indeed a learning experience for me as there were many core values that I learned such as Responsibility and Teamwork. For example, I was responsible for giving the information about NPCC to the Secondary 1 Students and their parents. I feel that this can be implemented in my life such as being responsible for my health and learning. During the CCA Fair, I got to practice more on my public speaking and the way I spoke to parents, which made me more confident.Although the CCA Fair in my opinion was a successful one, there were some challenges that me and my squadmates faced. Some of the challenges we faced was shortage manpower, as not everyone could attend the CCA Fair. Nevertheless, we worked with what we had and managed to make it a successful one.Another challenge that we have faced was the Drills Sequence. Not everyone have learnt the advanced rifle drills and some were unable to meet up during the week to learn and practice the sequence. But instead of giving up, my squadmates use the remaining amount of time we had to practice the advance drills as much time as we can. Overall, this CCA Fair Project indeed groom me to be a better cadet as it was an enriching experience for both me and my squadmates. We hope that the Secondary 1 students would be interested to join NPCC.
