Honestly, I had mixed feelings about today’s training because I was exhausted doing the drills continuousy under the hot sun. However, we managed to pick up a new drill which is to salute. I was elated that my good friends and I got promoted. Still, I am aware that I should also look out for those who were discouraged and comfort them. I am also excited that we have a new CI. During the games, I enjoyed myself despite being a little bit too competitive. Moving forward, I feel that my squadmates and I should improve on our sense of urgency when moving around or during changing so that we can have more time for learning. Overall, I had an enjoyable time for today’s training.

Today's CCA was tiring however it was fruitful one. Despite doing drills for the entire morning, we recapped and learnt many new drills. When we got promoted to Lance Corporal, it felt like our efforts were paid off and the fatigue was worth it. Next, the games we played were very fun and interesting. Especially one of the games, which was to guess the word that the other team have while not letting the other team guess our team's word. I feel that my drills standard definitely has room for improvement thus from next training onwards, I will give in my 100% and encourage my squadmates to do so too.

This training was very helpful to us as it helped prepare my squad for future trainings. The Cadet Leaders recapped on our drills and taught new drills to everyone. The CLs were patience with our mistakes and corrected them. For the tentage component, it was rapid and challenging for some of my squad mates as they have forgotten the skills needed for tentage. The training helped us to be more confident in our tent pitching and helped get us ready for the upcoming Survival Training Camp. The bonding session was very enjoyable and the squad hope for more activities like this in future. We appreciate the new and interesting games that was planned for us. The CLs did something very different this time where another game was ongoing the same time the other houses were playing the main game. This allowed us to bond more with the sec 1 juniors and used up all of the waiting time we had effectively. For the muster parade, some of my squad mates were very nervous about their promotion. However, many of them were promoted and awarded. Overall, this training was very well planned and gave us a recap on everything.

We started in the morning with drills session so that we were able to recall the drills we have done previously, and proceed with learning new drills. After that,we went to change into our pt kit and we head on to campcraft the session. We were splitted into 4 groups and were told to pitch the tent within 12 mins. I felt that it was challenging as my group were lacking in communication and one us was unsure of some parts of tent pitching. We ended the day off by playing new games with our own squad and also with the sec 1 squad. I felt that my squad mates are more bonded now with one another as we had alot of fun together. Through the games played, we were also able to bond with the Sec 1s more.
