It was a honour for me to be able to take part of National Police Annual Parade (NPAP) as it wasn't easy to be part of it especially when there were lots of different schools being part of NPAP and only selected people will be part of the parade. During NPAP training , it was very tiring as we have to wake up early on Saturday to go to HTA , it wasn't easy for us as we had training on Friday and the next day was NPAP training. Despite the training was very tiring , I've met lots of new friends and made new memories with them along this journey which was worth waking up to and during the training, I've also learnt to always have self-discipline and resilience as we have to endure holding the rifle and not play around . During the actual day, I was extremely nervous as there will be a lots of audience including my parents, teacher officers, cadets inspectors and seniors watching over us, which made me more.nervous as I was scared that I'll commit mistakes. But in order to make the tiring and torturous training worth it, I've overcome my anxiety by telling myself that I can do it and not let people down. After the successful parade and we were dismissed,we were all very delighted and I was filled with pride that we have overcome it ! -Kan Hiew Teng (10th Batch)
