Firstly, I feel very honoured to be part of this event as we rarely have the chance to do such big events like this. Throughout this event, I have learnt a lot of skills. The way they used to raise the flag is totally different from what we use to do in school for morning assembly. We also have to know the National Anthem for the different countries. It was very challenging to get the flag up on time as the different countries anthem is very different and some of it is really short. We also have to communicate with the different schools as we have to take turns. Even though the event was short, there is up to 8 victory ceremonies that we had to do and we had to rush everything, once we get down, we had to go and get the flags and prepare for the next ceremony. To me all of this experiences will definitely stay with me forever, not only I enjoyed I have also meet new people that helped me a lot.

It was a very good opportunity for me to be participating in this ASEAN event, as I can see many countries competing with each other to win the competition. I hope that I will still have this opportunity to participate in these types of events, as not many people will get this chance to get to pull different a flag of different countries when they win the competition. For this two days, I have pulled many different kinds of country flag at first I felt very scared because many people were looking at me pulling the flag and what’s more is that the flag we pulled might not be our own country flag so i felt even more anxious because I was afraid that I may pulled the flag upside down. But after a few rounds our trying, I was not scared anymore and I was more confident to pull the flag up with pride.
