'SEASON 6 - LAST EPISODE'

This event was fun as it helped to improve the bond between us through a series of games we had to play which requires cooperation with each other. Through this event, I have learnt to listen to others' opinions and ink critically. One of the fun part was when we had to hide from the characters, at the same time we had to attempt to ambush them.

Although the game felt tiring, we still had a lot of fun playng together to earn points. We also had to persevere although we were all worn out from hiding. It was still a fun experience even though we didn't win the first component of the competition.

For the second component of the competition- Poster Making, I learnt how to create a poster through powerpoint slides and methods to enhance the quality of the poster.

All in all, we definitely bonded well through the games and while traversing on the way to the venue such as understanding each other better. I'm certainly glad that I volunteered to join this event and I hope that ther would be more events like this in the future.

It has been a pleasure to participate in the Super Mario event. I'm honoured to be inside the last event which Bishan Park Secondary School hosted before their merger with another school.

My team comprised of my squadmates as well as my juniors. As a senior, I was cautious of everything I portrayed. I had to exemplify self-discipline and resilience.

At the beginning of the event, we were very enthusiastic with our mission, finding clue cards. As time pass by we lost hope as we had no sense of direction and could only locate 3 clue cards out of 20 over clue cards around the school. When all hope seems lost, I thought of an idea that we should ambush Mario and Luigi, that could earn us more points than clue cards.

It was a risky choice but we had to try. As beginners, we held hands and made sure we had each others’ back covered and made sure that Mario and luigi would not catch us, as there would be a 30 seconds penalty. For the first try, we thought of ambushing Luigi and we succeeded. We grew more fond of ambushing them and before we knew it, we had 15 points for ambushing them.

The first game ended.

The second game started.

The second game was to create a poster to increase the awareness of crime prevention. The juniors were showing signs of exhaustion and I had trouble keeping them interested but nonetheless, we finished the poster and felt that our poster was the best. Indeed, it was the best and clinched a gold trophy for the second game. The first game, we only had a certificate of participation. Despite losing the first game, in my opinion the first game was more thrilling and merry than the second game.
