Being a part of NPAP is a very prestigious and grand opportunity, especially if you are chosen to be inside the Guard of Honour (GOH)! I was feeling very anxious as I felt that trainings were few and lenient. The trainers were not strict enough and the trainings started to be unproductive as we started to slacken off. We soon came to realize that the ability to don the ceremonial attire is one of the biggest milestones being in a UG group. One that everyone wants to achieve.
However, it wasn't just the uniform, it was the overwhelming pride I felt when I was able to represent my school as the GOH. It was a honourable experience to be able to represent my school in a prestigious parade and I would never forget the words "Honour and Unity".
As I saw our school flag soaring high under our Flag Bearer, Ain, it compelled me to march with my head held even higher. It certainly was a honourable experience to be able to represent my school in a prestigious parade and I will never forget the values and words "Honour and Unity".
